Christmas Tea for all the Toys

Welcome to the tea party, thank you to Ginger at Bear Bits for hosting this event. My blog is now wearing its Christmas colours. Do look out for the snowflakes, they look so lovely drifting across the page.
Wendy and I love Christmas and between the two of us we could trim at least five Christmas trees with all the decorations we have collected over many years. Every year we find some new decorations to add to our amazing stash and the whole house is transformed into a winter wonderland.

Unfortunately this year all the decorations and tinsel and snow globes, all the tiny little bits and pieces are still in boxes. Our home was packed up in January, it was all in storage until September and should have taken six weeks to ship it to us. Somewhere there is a ship with a container full of our belongings which has still not arrived in the UK. Hopefully it will be here in the next week.

The above pictures are some of our latest creations. We are, as usual, running late with the bears for 2009 but they are in the making and will be on our webpage by the middle of next week. These are two of Christmas 2008 bears. I usually make a special one of a kind Father Christmas each one totally unique. This is Michael the vintage Santa and lovely cream bear is called Calico Angel.

Your work is always so beautiful Megan and Wendy. I hope your things arrive in time for Christmas and that we have a sprinkling of real snow to add magic to your first one over here.
Festive hugs, Lynda and the Bears

Hello to you both. The bears are so wonderful. Even without your normal Christmas decorations, they are very festive and charming. I wouldn't mind having them decorate my house this year! I like the colors you have chosen - my favorites. Thank you for taking part in the tea party even though your Christmas things are still packed away somewhere in transit. I hope they arrive soon and you can enjoy them again.
